REALLY fun book. The plot wasn't as tight as the first, and a few of the more interesting fringe characters seemed to fall by the wayside a little bit in this one. It also suffered from having just one too many villains whose motivations weren't given enough attention. However, the characters did continue to deepen a lot in this one, particularly Merrick. I loved Sorcha and Raed just as much, and everything about the Ehtia was awesome. I'm...not quite sure how I felt about the cliffhanger, but totally excited for the third one in the series.
